Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Currently, the Sonic Test Roller (STR) system is being implemented on select projects for both State and County Agencies. As the implementation process has progressed, experience has been gained and lessons have been learned. Consequently, there is need to incorporate the following features that have been identified during the 2011 implementation efforts:
* Ability to deploy patches through the USB Port.
* Temporary storage of data within the data control hardware in lieu of direct export to USB port.
* Ability to verify ¿real-time¿ that the data is being collected and stored.
*Update the GPS system.
* Ability to connect to MnDOT’s Virtual Reference Station / Continuously Operating Reference Station (VRS/CORS) GPS network.
* Adjusting of the sonic sensor filtering system.
