In addition to the building, a 1080 foot long flexible pavement runway will be constructed to allow the aircraft to takeoff, operate in the military "restricted" airspace of Camp Ripley, and land again. Along with the aircraft, the facility will contain a training device. DMA does not have adequate staff to perform the services required.

JLG operated a smooth, well managed design process through the phase of work in a timely manner and were consistently ahead of schedule.
The project had a low "change order rate" / below common industry standard < 2%.
JLG wasn't the low cost vendor, but all were within National Guard Bureau thresholds and JLG provided excellent service right to the end.
1. Good project design;
2. Innovative features;
3. Within "budget"!!
