Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The State contracted with Iteris, Inc. (Contractor) to install and integrate managed switches and peripheral devices needed to interconnect signalized intersections on the US Highway 14 beltline in Rochester. The beltline spans approximately 2.0 miles, from the junction of US Highway 52 to Marion Road (County State-aid Highway (CSAH) 36). The Contractor developed specifications for the managed switches and peripheral devices needed to integrate the signalized intersections. The State purchased the managed switches and peripheral devices based on the Contractor’s specifications. The Contractor then installed and integrated the managed switches and peripheral devices to interconnect the signalized intersections.
