Audubon Minnesota was the only organization with both the fiscal ability to manage the funds and to mobilize a statewide effort of professional and amateur birdwatchers to carry out this breeding bird atlas project.

Audubon Minnesota carried out the prescribed work on schedule and according to the protocol required to do a successful breeding bird survey.
The high number of professional biologists involved with this project contributed to a high quality product in terms of the survey's quality control and to the final product of data on birdlife in Minnesota.
Cost factors worked out well and under budget, with other organizations contributing matching funds to accomplish this effort.
Overall performance is considered excellent! We could not have anticipated a higher quality and comprehensive product than the one they carried out for us.
