Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: This project will enable local agencies to better manage their traffic sign assets and to decrease their costs by enabling more efficient sign replacement strategies. In addition to providing expected service life recommendations, the project will provide agencies an understanding of common drivers of sign replacements that will improve their ability to economically manage their inventories. By providing guidance on expected sign life, agencies will be able to reduce their costs for both managing and replacing signs.
