Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: As part of the Board of Psychology's transition to paperless operations, our agency enlisted the (off-site) scanning services of 'TAB Products Company, LLC' during Q4 FY15 to convert all paper Public Files to electronic version. The work involved document preparation, scanning, OCR, indexing, transfer to our agency via FTPS, and shredding of original documents. Due to the vast number of documents to be scanned and a lack of appropriate technology, it was necessary for our agency to outsource the work.

Evaluate the contractor's timeliness Excellent. Timely communications, work was completed on time, invoices were provided per requested schedule.

Evaluate the contractor's quality Excellent. We scanned well over 500,000 images, and we found no errors in our quality control sampling.

Evaluate the contractor's cost TAB is part of State Contract S-876 for Scanning and Imaging, so TAB's pricing was competitive compared to the other vendors. To clarify, we did increase the Purchase Order twice; first, we realized that we wanted additional indexing/database work done on our images, and then second, we realized that our second scanning vendor would not be able to complete their work and we thus decided to shift some images to TAB for scanning.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance Excellent. Extremely professional, high quality work, great customer service from everyone on the team. Would absolutely use TAB's services in the future, and would recommend to other agencies.
