Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: State is considering allowing the use of the Maple Grove Truck Station as a borrow source for a State project. The purpose of this contract is to conduct a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment type research and a Phase II Investigation of the site. The intent of this work is to identify the presence, magnitude, and extent of contaminated soil and/or groundwater at the site. This information will be used by State to determine if the site should be used as a borrow source and any final project design plans/specifications for site cleanup if determined to be necessary.
