Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Contractor, who is not a state employee, will provide final site inspection services for four of the Great River Road Roadside Property Restoration project sites: 1) Sibley Pioneer Church Memorial; 2) LaCrescent Roadside Overlook; 3) LaCrescent State Entry Marker; and 4) Reno Spring Roadside Parking Area. These four sites are part of a larger body historic restoration, covering 19 roadside properties, which Contractor provided professional services for beginning in October 2008. This contract will allow Contractor to conduct one year inspections of the sites, as required by State.
