Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of this consultant contract was to provide construction inspection and contract administration services for concrete pavement rehabilitation and bus shoulder construction on T.H. 252 from I-94 to T.H 610 in Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park. Work included materials sampling and testing, field inspection, and project records documentation.
It was neccessary to outsource this work because due to mndot large construction program that season, filed inspectors with proven expertise were unavailable to perform this work needed.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance This project was a rather complex project involving day and night work associated with concrete repairs, bituminous shoulder reconstruction, drainage and ADA imporvements in an area with high traffic volumes. In addition, there were some issues with the plan that necessitated extra work. The contractor's overall performance was above average for this project.
