Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State requested proposals for execution of a public education campaign to inform eligible voters in Minnesota of the laws and procedures regarding: registering to vote and voting in the general election in 2024.
Minnesota has an outstanding tradition of voter turnout and election performance, and this campaign, called HERE WE VOTE, aims to create a positive association with voting and appeal to Minnesotans’ spirit and camaraderie as a state in an effort to return us to #1 in the nation in voter turnout. It will emphasize the unity and freedom inherent in our right to vote, while expressing a positive characterization of the security and accuracy of our election systems, while letting voters know about the many options they have to exercise their rights in this momentous election year.
