Long Term Testing and Analysis on Asphalt Mix Rejuvanator Field Sections
1036343W01
The purpose of this contract was to investigate the impact of recycling agents used in asphalt mixtures to increase the amount
of reclaimed asphalt included in new construction. Rheological testing was conducted on the asphalt mixture collected during
construction and taken from cores on an annual basis. Chemical analysis was also included at each testing interval. The goal for
MnDOT of the extensive testing regime was to tell us what changes these materials were doing to our asphalt, how long do
those changes last, and how can we measure/ pay for those changes.

Very timely. Especially considering the project was initiated prior to COVID. The team did a great job of working through COVID shut-downs and challenges to deliver everything that was required.
High quality work. Expertise was visible in all delvierables and meetings but never condescending
Great value for the amount of work that was completed.
